Welcome to the DEB Design website.
DEB Design publishes construction plans for do-it-yourselfers, including Outdoor Wood Stoves, Swimming Pools, Heat Exchangers, and Garden Ponds. New project plans are constantly under development, and are added to this site, as they become available, so be sure to check back, often.

Outdoor Wood Stove Plan IV This heating plant was built, for about $2000 (2007) using all new materials, but could be built for less, using salvaged materials. This plan is 201 pages long and is very detailed.
Pallet Fueled Outdoor Wood Stove Plan This heating plant was built, for about $1600 (2002) using all new materials, but could be built for less, using salvaged materials. Note: Steel prices have risen much since then.
Outdoor Wood Stove/Boiler Plan I This stove was built, for about $700 (1995) using all new materials, but could be built for less, using salvaged materials. Note: Steel prices have risen much since then.
Outdoor Wood Stove/Boiler Plan II This stove was built, for about $400 (1998) using salvaged materials, including some discarded oil and fuel drums. Note: Steel prices have risen much since then.
Sidearm Domestic Water Heater Plan This device can be used with an outside wood burning stove, to heat all your domestic hot water. It was build it for about $30.
Liquid To Liquid Heat Exchanger Plan This project can be used with an outside wood burning stove or solar heating panels, to transfer heat to a closed heating system.
Swimming Pool or Spa Heat Exchanger Plan Build this stainless steel heat exchanger to heat your swimming pool, or spa, for less than $200.
Swimming Pool Plan I Build your own in, or above ground, vinyl lined pool, and save thousands. The pool wall is built using pressure treated lumber, well suited to the do-it-yourselfer.
Swimming Pool Plan II Build your own in, or above ground, vinyl lined pool, and save thousands. The pool wall is built using 8" concrete blocks and an easy-non-mortar, dry lay, construction method.
Retaining Wall Plan This plan shows how to easily built a wall as pictured in stages, without using wall forms, or mortar.
Garden Pond Plan This plan shows how to built an economical, natural, and maintenance free garden pond in your own backyard.
