Build this stove to try out an outdoor wood heating system. It has the same features as Boiler plan I, but is easier and more economically to build. The drawback is that it's a less flexible design, which limits the builder's ability to improve the stove's efficiency, as in Boiler Plan I. I built the stove pictured above, for about $400 using salvaged materials, including some discarded oil and fuel drums. (And salvaged paint, obviously)
