This plan was developed to be used with an outside wood burning boiler, to heat domestic hot water. The main element of this plan, is a simple liquid to liquid heat exchanger, made from inexpensive, common, plumbing components. This exchanger could be plumbed into an existing water heater, or tank, to provide, or increase your available domestic hot water supply. When plumbed to an outside wood stove, all your domestic hot water needs can be met, along with your home heating needs.
